Debbie Lee

Debbie is executive vice president for Elevate in Los Angeles, where she specializes in strategic and crisis communications, civic engagement, and multi-channel change campaigns. With nearly 25 years of experience, Debbie is skilled at making connections between people and their government.

 

Prior to joining Elevate, Debbie served as chief communications officer for the City of Santa Monica where she established and led their citywide communications program, including in the areas of public information, community engagement, public-private partnerships, and multi-media production. She has a deep understanding of program deployment, event activation, and developing strong brands.

 

Based in Los Angeles, Debbie holds FEMA certification in NIMS Incident Command System. Debbie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UC Riverside. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and teenage children.
